Reading have impressed so far this season after
their promotion from the Championship, and they
currently find themselves in eighth place. They have
won once away so far in the league, beating
Sheffield Utd 2-1, although they have lost their
other two away trips. All the talk at West Ham
recently has been about their two new Argentinian
signings, Tevez and Mascherano,
although their automatic inclusion in the team may
be ruffling a few feathers. They haven't really set
the world alight so far, and the Hammers have lost
three out of their last four games. They were beaten
by Newcastle 2-0 in their last home game at Upton
Park. Just back guys never seen the 3rd goal got off
with 5 mins left to try and beat the traffic.I
thought we played well first half but yet again we
fall behind and we've got no other plans for
attack.Yet again osman showed he's not up to playing
in the prem, carsley had a good game imo but still
over the hill for me,phil nev is a squad player he's
showed me nowt tbh, arteta yet again good with his
feet but free kicks and corners are a disgrace,it's
about time moyes give the corners and free kicks to
someone else.Mcfad we need to sell him get some coin
and go for nugent in the jan transfer window to
partner aj up front, beattie played ok won about 90%
of the balls in the air but same old story he flicks
them on and no ones there to run onto them. On
sunday moyes needs to think about giving shandy a
game, come on he can't be any worst than whats
playing at the moment and we may start getting some
decent balls in the box for the forwards to run on
to. Just about to hit the sack work in the
morning, but just like to say shrek is still a
knobhead, after they scored the first he looked up at
the everton fans and gave a salute junped up and
down and also kissed his badge, but it was nice to
see phil nev go in hard on him which left shrek on
the floor in a heep and him banging the ground like
a baby.O and yet again bad ref gave us nowt and seem
to wait for his linesmen to make a descison and when
he couldn't he let the crowd decide
This is a difficult game to call,
although the momentum is certainly with Reading. The
Royals had a confidence boosting 1-1 draw with Man
Utd in their last game, and this bodes well for
their trip to London. The inclusion of the
Argentinian duo has affected the balance of the West
Ham team it seems, and it is notable that since
these players have been picked, West Ham's form has
dipped significantly. Their key central defender
Anton Ferdinand is also struggling with an injury.
The prospect of Everton leaving Liverpool to play in
some bland retail park surrounded by a Tesco
megastore is even for me, pretty horrible. Moving is
one thing, but moving to a an out of town site? I
hope they reconsider. There's already too many of
these bland sites in football. As someone mentioned,
there is a lot of potential along the docks and even
in the sandhills area which is served by a
merseyrail station. Be a real shame if both Anfield
and Goodison are gone in 10 years. And it'd be even
worse if Everton have a new home before us
All this makes me look to the
handicaps.
Bet365 will offer new customers a free £100 bet on
this match, and I'm going to take Reading +0.5 on
the asian handicap @ 1.85. Steve Coppell has
got his side playing well and with confidence, and I
think they can get something out of this game.
With the livewire partnership of Leroy Lita and
Kevin Doyle up front, they are causing teams all
sorts of problems, together with the boost of a 1-1
draw with Man Utd, they should do enough for a 1-1
draw, which will make our bet a winner!
