He just needs to be assured that a period of silence is not a bad thing whilst he reflects on the question, ermmmm is not required to fill the silence. Hmmm, ok, not sure I'd want to give too big a price, but as I say is he thick ? I'm guessing he's not, more likely poorly educated and he is naturally very shy so I suspect he gets more nervous for the press conference than he does for a World Cup quarter final.

Rio, on his stupid set up programme was thickness personified, giggling like a kid, how I dislike that man. I read Joe Coles thoughts on the influence Hargreaves had on the way the team played against Sweden and thought he was a very shrewd footballer.

I was interviewed outside Highbury by Sky before our match their last season. Just interviewer and cameraman in the street, I suddenly turned into a jibbering fool, they actually used some of the footage in the build up, my mate recorded it and it looked ok but you are indeed correct, it has a very odd effect ! A very sensible solution to a potentially tricky problem.
