Tottenham are having a slow start to their
season, although recently things have been looking
up for Martin Jols side. They secured an impressive
2-0 away win midweek in the UEFA cup over Besiktas,
and their Premiership form has improved also. They
beat a good Portsmouth side 2-1 in their last home
game and managed a 1-1 draw away with high flyers
Aston Villa last week.
West Ham are on a dreadful run and there are
questions being asked about their Argentinian
signings and more importantly their manager Alan
Pardew. They have lost five out of their last six
games in the league, and are showing no signs of
really solving any of their problems. I really
fancy Spurs in this game. I think their form has
picked up over the last few weeks and they showed
that they are getting this right by beating Beisktas
away midweek. They have Berbatov back bit and with
him in the side I think they look a lot more
dangerous going forward. Together with Keane and
Defoe, they will cause West Ham all sorts of
problems.
Betfred are offering a £100 free bet on this game,
and with odds of 4/5 available on a Tottenham home
win, I think this is a great bet. West Ham
are a side with no confidence at the moment, while
Spurs are slowly building theirs. With this being a
home game, I think 4/5 is a little large for the the
home win and should be taken. |
