"Real Madrid come into this game on the
back of a masive 3-0 loss to Barcelona in La Liga,
and this will have dented their confidence coming
into this game. The Spanish side currently lie joint
top of Group B alongside Kiev and Leverkusen. In their
last game they drew 2-2 away in Dynamo Kiev.
This is an extremely important game for both sides.
Madrid will have been disappointed with their performance
against Barcelona, while Bayer have also been disappointing
this season in Bundesliga. They are in tenth place
currently and were hammered 3-1 last week at home
to Schalke 04.
This is a big game for both sides, but I'm expecting
the European might of Real to come through. After
a poor start to the season, they have picked up and
Michael Owen is in great form. In their last home
game in La Liga they demolished Albacete 6-1. Leverkusen
are nowhere near as good as they were last season
and are struggling in Bundesliga. Im on Real
Madrid at 1.44 with Betfair [£20

the difference in quality of these two teams and should
be snapped up. Real have players in form, and at home
they should be able to see off the faltering Leverkusen
team. "
Everyone is jealous of chelsea's
success so we'll bang on about how many fans we've
got or how good we were compared to them 20 years
ago. I don't think chelsea fans care that some don't
see them as a bigger club then man u or liverpool, i
wish my team started winning as much as them
regardless of how many fans we take to away games.I
watched Watford and Sheffield United on Monday, Man
U and Chelsea on Sunday and Bolton and Chelsea last
night, all EPL games. Not one of them held a candle
for excitement and fast flowing football to the Hibs
and Celtic game I went to on Sunday. Time to stop
kidding on the EPL is the best in the world, unless
its best at overcharging and wasting money. If the
Blues are lucky enough to come away with all three
points tomorrow it will be the first time since we
beat Spurs and the earlier in the season that we
have had back to back wins in the Prem. 2001 was our
last win at the Valley when Big Dunc and Davey Weir
both netted in a 2-1 win for the Blues.
Everton from: Howard, Wright, Valente, Yobo, Lescott,
Stubbs, Neville, Osman, Arteta, Carsley, Beattie,

Hughes, Weir
Eleven To Start: Howard, Valente, Yobo, Lescott,

Hmmm, not sure could be Jimmy Mac wide left 451 or
442 Jimmy Mac and AJ. Reckon he's more likely to go
with Beattie, save Jimmy Mac for later if struggling
