Fair play
to Germany the done well against the Swedes. But they still
like all their games have looked very shaky at the back.
Burdisso in for Scaloni, Gonzalez for Cambiasso, and Tevez
for Saviola would be my preferred line up for the Argies.
Messi can get another 45 under his belt then should be ready
to go. Don't know why I've laid it back just safe I suppose
think they will score plenty against he Germans. Brazil V
France, they could be the best team to beat France with 5
across the middle you will always get a chance against
Brazil so I'm really looking forward to this game. A great
servant to Liverpool and a top class bloke (always has a
Racing Post on him) and often at Chester races......even at
Bangor-on-Dee.
Good opponents's with Rafa..they often ate in Ego's (In
Heswall) together with their wives....but with Momo Sissoko
looking good and the fact that Rafa spends Liverpool's money
like his own...a relatively high earner like Didi was going
to be on his way though.
Let me say this, he played an integral part in Liverpool
winning the FA cup last season and will fit well into
Bolton's midfield. Dont expect too many goals though!!!!BETTING
PICK: Newcastle @ 9/1 - Bobby Robson has made some good recent
signings, Lee Bowyer, Woodgate, and these will mix well with
up and coming youngsters Bellamy, Jenas. Of course, theres
always Shearer, Speed, Viana, et al. Man Utd are unproved
without Beckham, and Arsenal are handicapped by their new
stadium which has seen no big transfers to Highbury. For all
Chelseas millions, the team will need time to adjust to new
big signings, and I feel this may be a season too soon for
the Blues. Bobby Robson has kept his camp quiet and I cant
see many people beating them at home this term. If they can
start wining a few more away then they will definitley be
top 3. They could go a few steps further than last season.**Christmas
update 29/12/2003 Newcastle currently 7th!
I wanted Spain to win (not for
cash) but France handled them well. However the Henry -
Puyol incident leaves a sour taste. Henry cheated and the
ref was wrong. For the first time in my life I'm getting
fedup with football. The cheating, the conning of refs,
crying for cards and awful refereeing makes me sick.
I did around 300 quid on the match so only a small interest
in the game. if france had won h/t f/t now that would have
been a lot worse but i was down last night and the
retuarante having my dinner before the game and waving my
spanish flag and really wanting spain to win.
it was a great night until france went in front, the
atmosphere was fantastic and i really went home rather sad
and not because of the 300 quid.
i will , god spare, be supporting my adopted country in the
euro 2008
