" Well, I have to say that I've been
impressed recently with Portsmouth since the departure
of Harry Redknapp - the south coast side have risen
to ninth in the league and have won three out of their
last five home games. On Boxing day they defeated
Crystal Palace away 0-1, and this will put them in
great confidence to face the Premiership leaders.
Chelsea are of course on a great run at the moment.
They havent lost in 9 matches and had a good 1-0 home
win over Aston Villa, in a game where they were rarely
troubled.
Its difficult not to go with a Chelsea win here,
they have won three out of their last four matches
way from home, scoring a massive 14 goals! The thing
is Fratton Park is a very intimidating place to go
for an away team, even one with as much experience
as Chelsea. I have the feeling Portsmouth could give
Chelsea a good game today. In their last home match,
Pompey only narrowly lost to Arsenal 0-1, and with
this game being new coach Velimir Zajec's first home
match in front of a sell out crowd, Pompey could do
quite well.
Im going for Portsmouth
+1 @ 1.8 with betfair [£20
Free Bet] - Pompey have a good recent
history of giving top teams a really tough match,
- they have beaten Man Utd and only lost to Arsenal
by the odd goal in their last four home matches, and
with a headstart I think they can surprise their London
rivals. Go with it! " Will continue to
use my season ticket but am not paying another penny
to watch this c rap. Moyes has bought rubbish - no
different to any of the other players and no-one who
can change the way we play. He is heading for the
sack because he cannot survive if we carry on
playing like this and he doesnt even try to change
anything. We have been made to look poor now by City
Wigan and Portsmouth - for heavens sake how much
more are the fans expected toI refuse to get too
worried, it's a very fine line between success and
failure, especially when we achieved last years
success on solid defencing and sneaking the odd
goal. The dissapointing thing to me is that this
MUST be a stronger squad, we've lost Tommy Grav,
Super Kev & Stubbsy and gained loads of new players
who no one was questioning before the season
started, the lack of a striker the glaring ommission
of course take. Our hopes lie with Van der meyde but
what if he turns out like the rest of Moyes
signings.I was at the game and you cannot hide the
fact we were awful end of story. The fans are behind
the manager so now is the time for all the players
to have a good look at themselves,i know opinions
are personal but the new signings apart from Neville
need to start earning their wages, last seasons top
performers now need to dig in and repeat it,certain
players are SULKING...we dont need that Marcus right
now.WE ARE THE PEOPLES CLUB.
