Internazionale will be able to call on a full complement of strikers for their Champions League trip to Porto.

Christian Vieri and Obafemi Martins have both been declared fit for the first-leg of the last 16 tie at the Estadio do Dragao.

Vieri and Martins picked up knocks during Saturday's 1-1 draw against Udinese and failed to train on Monday. But subsequent tests have revealed no lasting damage and the duo will be at the disposal of coach Roberto Mancini on Wednesday night.

Their availability is a boost for Mancini with star striker Adriano currently struggling for form. The Brazilian has not scored since mid-December, although the Inter coach insists he is not unduly concerned by the relative goal drought.

Mancini said: "Adriano needs to be calm. These things happen to every striker and when he least expects it he will end his barren run."

The Champions League is rapidly emerging as Inter's priority this season as 16 draws have hindered their Serie A title challenge despite an unbeaten record.

Inter are 11 points behind joint leaders AC Milan and Juventus - a deficit they are unlikely to claw back - although they may still land some silverware in the form of the Coppa Italia after winning through to the semi-finals.

Success in Europe will be far from straightforward though with a number of the continent's big guns still involved while defending champions Porto are sure to provide a stiff test of Inter's credentials.

"I think we have the most difficult rival (in the last 16)," said midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron. "I would have preferred to have faced a team that is a big name in Europe because that motivates you more.

"But we cannot forget that we face the European and world champions and although they have sold some of their top players, it will be a very difficult game."

Porto currently lead the Portuguese Super League but their form this season has been a shadow of that shown under previous coach Jose Mourinho, now in charge of Chelsea.

Replacing Mourinho has proved particularly problematic with Luigi Del Neri and Victor Fernandez both being sacked after short spells in charge.

Jose Couceiro has now taken over and has to deal with a number of selection worries.

Midfielder Diego and veteran defender Jorge Costa are both suspended, meaning Couceiro is desperate key midfielder Nuno Maniche can prove his fitness in time.

Amazingly, Inter are still unbeaten in Serie A in 25 games, and I think they should have too much for Porto today. The Champions are a shadow of the team who won the cup last year and with Vieri declared fit and Adriano up front, Inter should simply have too much firepower today.
