The Sunday game sees Sam Allardyce's Bolton team
travel to Newcastle to take on Glenn Roeder's side.
It must be said that Newcastle looked very poor and
offered very little going forward as Man Utd
demolished them 2-0 in their last game. The Toon
have only won once in their three home games, and
were beaten by Fulham 2-1 and could only draw 1-1
with Everton in their last two. Well i know him but
i am sure a lot of other Evertonians have had
similar e-mails from him why dont you e-mail him and
see what he says at least he is being honest and i
wish a lot more fans would stand up and say what
they think. At least he is going to tell kenwright
what he thinks. Bolton seem to have
put a bad start behind them and are slowly climbing
up the league. They find themselves in third place
in the table, having won three out of their last
four games. This includes and away win at Portsmouth
and an impressive home win over Liverpool 2-0. For
me, these games are definitely Sam Allardyce
territory. When Bolton are on a good run of form,
his side either grind out a 0-0 draw or seem to nick
all three points with a single goal. I have a
feeling we could see the same sort of thing
happening today. I would be tempted to go for a
Bolton win as for me Newcastle have been very
disappointing this term. However, I can also see a
lack of goals in this game. In every one of
Bolton's last six games, there have been Under 2.5
goals. Newcastle fare not much better, only one of
their last six matches has there been three or more
goals. This Sunday's bet is to therefore
get on the Under 2.5 goals @ 1.57 with bet365, who
will offer all customers upto a free £100 bet on the
game. In this country, not much is known
about Clint Dempsey,He was 'MLS Rookie of the year',
he played without much fuss in the World Cup,and
scored a forgettable goal in a friendly against
England.however he certainly comes with critical
acclaim from his compatriots, two of whom carry
respect in the world of Football. Ex-US football
hero Eric Wynalda, who succeeded in making the jump
to European football speaks highly of
Dempsey 'Clint Dempsey is your breakout player
Dempsey is young and brash, but talented.'
The Texan is known for his 'never say die' attitude
and his high work rate, whilst still retaining that
special flair and atheletic build. If he can't do
that often enough if he signs for Everton there is
one thing he's good at Hip Hop.
Ex-Liverpool player Steve Nicol, now coaching in the
states holds the player in high esteem 'The first
thing with Clint is that he likes to play the game.
He trains exactly how he plays and goes hard every
day, so on Saturdays he gets the benefit.'
Everton have had two recent American signings, this
story came out through an agent , moyes was asked if
he'd be interested in coker , he said of course
hence we are now staging a 10 million pound bid -
laughable and the journo has taken some stick
regarding it but what about the sports editor ??
neville fit for sunday , extra day has helped osman
and faddy in their attemptsto be fit faddy more
hopeful than osman. arteta trained today too but
only light , he wont suffer from lack of fitness but
maybe a bit soon.
hibbert started training harder without raction ,
pistone and naysmith both full training . cahil has
upped training too , 3 times a day , oxygen tent ,
weights and running . was told he looks like taking
7/10 days off his comeback date which was 5th jan ,
great effort from him both of whom were succeses in
Brian Mcbride and our own Tim Howard. If Moyes, along
with Fulham is monitoring the situation, he hasn't
made a move yet.maybe the points are still level at
'Deuce' - ironically Dempseys nicknameNewcastle do not do enough in front of
goal, and are missing Michael Owen, while Bolton are
masters at grinding out draws and pulling off an
away win. It would not surprise me if Bolton took
all three points today, remember they do have
Nicolas Anelka in the team who scored midweek for
France and he could snatch an odd winner, but I cannot see three goals being scored.
