There's not alot wrong with Man Utd at the moment.
Despite the loss of Ruud Van Nistelrooy in the
summer, Alex Ferguson has pulled a master stroke by
signing Spurs midfielder Michael Carrick, who looks
like he will take over the Roy Keane mantle. Keep in
mind a supporting cast of Ronaldo,
Ryan Giggs, Alan Smith, Scholes and Solskjaer are
waiting in the wings, this is still a very strong
Utd line up. Fulham on the other hand, look like a
team which could struggle this season. Chris Coleman
has worked wonders at Craven Cottage but this looks
like a season too far. Only winning two away games
last season, a trip to Man Utd looks like a
potential nightmare start for the London side.
Here goes my tip for the weekend although every
time I share information on here my bets usually get
humped.
Being a biased FALKIRK supporter I am going to tip
you something a little biased but please read me
out!
Tomorrow sees Falkirk travel to Pittodrie to play
Aberdeen in the SPL. Falkirk are travelling having
beaten Rangers on thier previous outing. I ain't
tipping Falkirk to win (In The Evening Express
{Aberdeen} tonight it says Falkirk haven't won there
for 49 years!!). No my tip is for ANTHONY STOKES to
score First. I recommend you take the 15/2 at
Hilliam Wills and take the each way option at 1/2
odds 1-2-3 ( 1st three goals).
Why? For a start Anthony Stokes is the Top Scorer in
the SPL at time of typing with 11 goals. Being away
from his home ground normally would put me off but
get this, STOKES has been first goalscorer in the
last four Falkirk away fixtures in the SPL. The
games being away to Motherwell, Kilmarnock,
Dunfermline and Caley Thistle. He also scored the
equaliser in the League Cup fixture at Celtic Park
(albeit in extra time therefore beat for betting
purposes) as well as the only goal away to Caley
Thistle again in a previous round of the League Cup.
Falkirk have a good away record in the SPL. So far
10 of our 21 points in the league so far have been
earned on the road whilst last season we won far
more points away from home rather than at Home . It
appears to me Falkirk find playing away from home
not the slightest bit daunting.
Predictably, the bookmakers have very short odds
on a home win, with Man Utd a very short best priced
3/10. Again, this is no value at all for me, so I'm
looking elsewhere for a bet. With almost
70,000 screaming fans at Old Trafford, Wayne Rooney
waiting to be unleashed, I'm predicting alot of
goals from the home side, and I cant really see
Fulham creating many problems up front. Rio
Ferdinand looked very fit and eager for England
midweek, and with Argentinian defender Gabriel
Heinze by his side Fulham are going to need a
howitzer to get through that defence! Due to this,
Paddy Power have a cracking bet - Man Utd to win to
nil @ nice odds of evens! I think this is a great bet
that stands out. I'm getting on - so should you! |
