"This is a big game for Utd - Wayne Rooney
looks set to make his Manchester United debut against
Fenerbahce as Sir Alex Ferguson's side bid to maintain
their recent improved form.
The 18-year-old former Everton star has not played
since England's Euro 2004 quarter-final exit against
Portugal but is finally ready to return to action
after over three months out with a foot injury.
Gary Neville and Louis Saha could also be in line
for a recall after returning to training.
Despite their stuttering start to the campaign, United
are unbeaten in eight matches, and have not lost since
the defeat at Chelsea on the opening weekend of the
Premiership campaign.
This will not be easy for Utd however, Fenerbahce
have won their last six matches after drawing 2-2
with Rizespor on the opening day of the season.
They also made a fine start to their European campaign
with a 1-0 win against Sparta Prague, despite playing
with ten men for the last 17 minutes.
Van Hooijdonk headed the only goal of the match in
the 16th minute and they held on to secure a vital
three points despite Servet Cetin's late dismissal.
Due to this, I think the Turkish team can cause problems
for Utd, and they are playing with alot of confidence.
Im going for Fenerbahce

What has any of that got to do with the price of
fish? Jermaine Jenas was right about you lot. You're
just another goldfish who cannot even remember what
the original discussion was about.
I'm not bad, AR. Nice of you to be so gracious in
defeat, by the way. Yes, I made a fair few quid last
night but as I'm sure you probably realise,
performances like last night's don't just come out
of the blue and we have been steadily improving
lately.Funny things is, I'm actually curious to know
what price Watford are Monday now. I think they're
the sort of team who will cause us problems. im not
sure about that one tbh i know you have a bit of
reputation as a side to avoid trusting betting wise
but as i have said on various threads, your
performance last night was the best I have seen from
on of our oppents at VP since Arsenal 2 years ago.
Watford are a very direct side and i would suggest
that plays into your hands as your teams all round
size and strength is a huge plus when competing
against them. Unfortunately this is an area which is
still a huge problem down VP
