" Well, Man Utd are on roll at the minute,
and it seems that they still think they can catch
Chelsea!. They are unbeaten in twelve Premiership
matches, and had a good 1-0 away win at arch rivals
Liverpool last week. Aston Villa are struggling at
the moment, but they did bring their barren spell
to an end with a good 3-0 home win over lowly Norwich
City. They have lost their last four away trips, however.
Its difficult to see how Man Utd can lose this one
- they are playing with so much confidence at the
moment. It is surprising however, that they nearly
lost to Tottenham in their last home game, and managed
to scrape a 0-0 draw. For me, Spurs are a much better
team than Villa at the moment. The problem with Villa
is their awful scoring record - they havent scored
in their last four away trips and have conceded eight
goals. In fact they only average just over half a
goal for every away trip! The odds for a home win
are not that attractive but I think the 1.38
for a Man Utd home win with betfair [£20
free bet] should justify a bet, and should
be snapped up. Utd have won four out of their last
five home matches, while Villa havent scored in their
last four away trips. These stats cannot be ignored
and Im going for a 2-0 Utd win. Get ON! "
His time may or may not have been over, however
as player/ goal scorer he is not doing too badly
since he moved on, I just think you will miss his
goals in away games especially, will dominate a lot
of teams at home, but between now and the season end
will lose around 15 points away imo
Johnee, stevie wonder could see talent better than
you, u are a disgrace to all soccer fans! Oliver
Holt is a smarmy ****. Please associate him with
another club. Saying that though, I have seen him
metaphorically bumming Alistair "New investment is
my no 1 priority and has been for the past 3 years"
MacIntosh before, and for that he should be shot. I
think that's the point though RP, he's doing well at
Madrid but he looks like he wants to, he was lacking
desire at OT and from what i'm told was causing
problems on the training ground, his form at Madrid
is no guide to what might have happened at OT.
United have the best away record in the PL in the
last season and a half, at a time when RVN was not
being regularly selected, The 18 months before that
were dire and he looked forlorn at times, too
predictable.
RP I think you are wrong, in the premiership we will
not miss him at all provided everyone stays fit and
Ole comes back.
In the champions league I think we will miss his
goals but then he had a number of years and we never
got very far with him anyways.
