" Well, this is the game of the season
so far in the Premiership, and how the mighty have
fallen! Man Utd come into this game on the back of
a disappointing 0-0 draw in Prague in the CL, while
Arsenal squandered the lead twice to draw 2-2 with
Panithanaikos in Greece.
The return of Rio Ferdinand has been the key factor
in Man Utd's climb up the league, and he will return
for this game. For me however, Man Utd are still missing
quality positions in some key areas and their recent
results have shown this. They have drawn twice in
their last four games at home, which includes a 1-1
draw with Middlesbrough and an awful 0-0 with Everton.
Arsenal of course, are a class above these teams,
and their away record is perfect - four wins out of
four, averaging three goals for every trip and only
conceding two goals! Alex Fergusons mind games have
already started for this match, if we remember last
seasons game, and the tackles will be flying in for
this one. For me, Arsenal are the favourites for this
game as the their scoring record is superb - if they
can keep up with their average of three goals a game,
I dont think Utd will score three against Arsenal's
defence. It should be a great game, Utd have good
strikers in Rooney, Smith and Saha, but Arsenal have
equally good players in defence such as Sol Campbell,
Ashley Cole, Lauren, and their records cannot be ignored.
I think it is midfield where Arsenal have the edge
- Viera does have an ankle injury but should play
and Pires and Ljungberg are in good form - whereas
Utd's players Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Kleberson and
Fletcher are not playing to Arsenals standards at
the moment - Im on Arsenal

the records of these two teams and considering Arsenal
haven't been beaten in nearly 50 Premiership games
- they should be snapped up! "I do
however think the analogy fits, no doubt you have
some good players, Charagher, Alonso, Gerrard,
Sissokko, Bellamy (Kuyt as well I think but
currently flattering to decieve) Finnan I also quite
like but he doesn't seem to have a best team, and
fiddling with it each week.
I don't understand why he doesn't pick his best 11
and play'em week in week out, change them when
required (injuries & suspensions) and see what
happens.we are playing quite well and in spells we
do look very exciting.there is no doubt that we
should of got a result yesterday but thats
football.the only problem we appear to have is at
left back.riise isnt really a full back and nor is
aurellio imo. warnock doesnt improve there we will
have to buy.suppose we could play carragher there
(his best position btw) but i feel he is needed as a
part of the central defense partnership.
( i feel carra with either agger/hypia is the way to
go) only prob in midfield is pennant. is was
absolute garbage yesterday. think he only played coz
gonzales wasnt ready.kuyt and bellamy will get it
right.
with crouch as super sub and fowler coming in for
the leseer games and covering for injuries. things
certainly are looking bright Looked exceptional
yesterday and won everything in the air and most on
the ground against psv.
21 as well what a talent.
