FA CUP Third Round Previews
It has been proved that St Albans City FC played an ineligible
player in the above tie. Jamie Southon was on loan from
Hornchurch FC. The FA had not received the written permission
of Hornchurch FC by 12noon on the Friday before the date
fixed for the round in accordance with Competition Rule
18 (j).
St Albans City FC are therefore removed from the Competition
and Heybridge Swifts FC are re-instated and will now be
at home against Yeading FC in the Third Round Qualifying
on Saturday 16 October 2004.
Costs are awarded against St Albans City FC, but no fine
is imposed as removal from the Competition is considered
sufficient punishment. The Prize Fund payment of £3,750
is now forfeited.
Only a racist, senile old khunt like Aragones could have
ruined Spain's biggest ever chance of World Cup glory and
conspire to get the best footballing side in the World Cup
knocked out in the second round.
The nutter played with the wrong formation for an hour - he
should have started with wingers (Reyes and Joaquin) against
a 5-man French midfield. Then he brings off his best striker
in Villa and a complete waste of space in Raul to bring on
poxy Luis Garcia who shouldn't even be in the squad. Then
when he needs a goal he swaps his best defensive midfielder
for his fourth choice defensive midfielder for no apparent
reason. Was Xavi injured, I couldn't tell? The high offside
line employed by he Spanish defence was suicide and they
deserved to pay for it.
Why oh why do so many people cream themselves over Fernando
Torres? I have watched him closely for over two seasons and
he has yet to play well in a single game I have seen him in.
I heard today that The Arse are in talks with him. PLEASE NO
ARSENE. I did think Dirk Kuyt was our man but he has looked
out of his depth at a higher level than the Eredivisie.
Looking at the standard of strikers in this World Cup, does
Peter Crouch look so bad now?
France were very average and a shade of the superb side of
yesteryear. Nice to see Vieira and Zizou find the net
though. But this whole World Cup has been disappointing in
terms of quality with all of the supposed world class sides
failing to perform. The Champions League is clearly the
elite football competition now and players seemingly appear
disinterested in national pride (whatever that is) and more
concerned with their £100k a week wages. Maybe the poor
devils are burnt out after a 10-month season. Henry's
reprise of Rivaldo's face-holding was outrageous and totally
out of character. I guess Howard Marks must have really
wound him up in the Champions League final, where oh, Henry
failed to perform yet again |
