"Everton have had a great start to the
season and have risen to third in the Premiership.
In their last game however, they lost at home to Spurs.
Southampton are in a dismal state and lie eighteenth
in the league - they drew their last game with Man
City 0-0.
Well, the first bet that appeals to me is the UNDERS
here. Everton have only scored three goals in their
last four games, and only average a goal a game. They
have only conceded one goal in four games, which is
a great defensive record. Southampton have an appalling
away record, taking only one point out of a a possible
twelve. They have only scored one goal away from home
all season. For this match I'm going on the UNDER
2.5 @ 1.75 with Betfair [£20
Free Bet]. Two teams who are struggling
going forward - and Everton also have a tight defence
at the moment. Im also going for the correct score
as cover - Everton to win 1-0 and 2-0. Get on!

it was a strange moment. campbell kind of looked at
him like what the **** was that all about? If it
hadn't been an ex mate of his I think it would have
all gone off. I have no problem with the physical
approach teams use against us. we need to learn to
deal with it. scott parker shows a physical approach
at its best, hard bt fair. shearer's was just nasty.
what was really galling was his smug smirk about it
being a physical game just a couple of weeks after
throwing his toys out the pram against grimsby. yeah
that was assault where the guy had no intention of
doing anything other than catching the man, but so
was his tackle on campbell
Scummer, been doin it for years; elbows, late
tackles on the ankles, winding up the opposition.
Has the most punchable face in football, and that's
saying something.
has H from Steps gone into football? if he has, then
he'd win that vote imvho
shearer has such a one-eyed view on his contribution
to football that he seems an ideal candidate for a
manager. he'll be moaning about dirty Bolton one
week and taunting Southern softies the next
More cretins on this thread than at your average Man
United game.
People come out with the same garbage again and
again, you dispute what is said but it just appears
on another thread.
I'm one who usually defends Shearer but his elbow on
Weir was very poor(more so in light of what happened
to Shearer at Grimsby) and should have received a
straight red. He should have been booked against
Arsenal too and it's becoming increasingly obvious
that he's indulging in the physical side of the game
the more his other talents are diminishing.
the sickening thing about Shearer is the measure of
intent. he is a very smart player; you never saw him
throw an elbow for England because he knew he
wouldn't get away with it. in the rough and tumble
of the PL he knows you get away with much more. i
think what annoyed him most about grimsby is that
the challenge was so lacking in subtlety, when he
has turned controlled violence into a craft.
that ok, nf?
