well arsenal's no easy draw but looking at the sides
teams have been putting out i think chelsea would have been
harder. they had a near full starting 11 and are obviosuly
taking it pretty seriously. be interesting to see how many
normal first teamers arsenal put into the team to play
against us.would be good to get a result this weekend
against them, would certainly give the team some
confidence.Everton youngster John Paul Kissock has again
been mentioned in the same breath as Premiership Champions

Seriously, I think we have really fucked up and signed his
fat twin brother. I've watched this guy countless times for
Inter milan and my god....what a player!! But since he was
injured when he signed, he has looked like a former shadow
of himself. You have to ask questions of the Everton
backroom staff. Why has Davey, Davey Moyes allowed such a
talented player to gain weight and languish on the bench??
Why has he not put this £2something000k a week player on a
strict diet? Why is he not running miles and miles every day
to burn that weight off and get to the extreme levels of
fitness that these "professionals" require to earn their
money. His man management skill can't be that great if he is
going to allow this player, who could be the another big
piece in the jigsaw to waste his time and sit staring at the
January transfer door. We all know what a fit Van Der Meyde
is capable of - and if you don't highlight this, and you
will see what this guy can do. Come on Moyesy, he ain't done
much but we are all waiting to idolise this guy. Get him
training, get him fit and for god's sake get him playing
Chelsea, with the Londoners apparently keen on taking the
young midfielder away from his Merseyside home.
However, our sources indicate that JP has heard nothing from
Chelsea, and the first he heard of it was when it appeared
in the press last week.Perhaps more promising, was that JP
apparently indicated to our source that he loves playing for
Everton, at any level, and as long as that continues - he
wouldn't even look at joining another club.
I fancy our chances, i really do. the arsenal youngsters are
a top quality side but the everton players really want to
win this tournament and they're giving it they're all.
certianly as long as we don't get any more injuries or
illnesses or fall apart over the next 2 weeks i'll fancy us
for this one.and if we can beat them then we'd be in fine
shape to go further.
