I think the advice he must get is pants, his
ability will ensure that someone will always employ
him but Sir A must think what's coming in volume two
if he falls out with him.
I thought to s1ag off Moyes was out of order,
achieves nothing and shows him in a very poor light.
I've defended him in part in the past when he left
EFC, a 17 year old, badly advised, a very dodgy
agent and Sir Alex and other millionaires courting
him, it must be hard to resist at that age, his
abuse to the blues fans at Goodison, spur of the
moment stuff, I can understand that too, LEE
CARSLEY'S Goodison future was in the balance last
night after Wolverhampton Wanderers revealed their
interest in the player.
The midfielder was not part of the Everton party
that flew to Columbus for the first leg of their
tour to the United States on Monday after staying
behind for family reasons.
And it emerged yesterday that new Wolves manager
Mick McCarthy is keen on taking the 32-year-old to
Molineux, with Championship rivals Stoke City also
understood to be interested. A return to his
Midlands roots could prove a major lure to Carsley,
who still lives in the area. Transferring to Wolves
would also see him work once again with McCarthy,
under whom he won most of his 29 caps for the
Republic of Ireland before retiring from
international football, a decision he has since
reversed following the instalment of Steve Staunton
as Ireland coach as successor to Brian Kerr.
Carsley missed almost all of last season through
injury and, with only a year remaining on his
present contract and Everton manager David Moyes
having a wealth of options in central midfield, it
may be a move would serve the best interests of both
parties. Moyes would then possibly be handed
whatever funds were generated to help facilitate any
further squad strengthening before the start of the
season. Moyes, meanwhile, confirmed Everton have
been tracking highly-rated 17-year-old Dundee
midfielder Kevin McDonald. Makes sense I suppose and
at 32, if we can get something for him Was last
nights match available to watch anywherebut this to
me serves no purpose what so ever other than to make
him look like a spoilt brat and I'm guessing most
people thinking less of him than they did before.
Talksport were having a pop at him this afternoon
suggesting that he concentrate on fullfilling his
potential instead of slagging of a decent man who
gives a sh1t about the well being of his team.
Still any player with a League Cup Winners medal is
fully entitled to "write" his autobiography. A
rivetting read I'm sure.
In conclusion and having weighed up all that's gone
before on the subject

sorry,you're wrong mate.
In Sven we had the misfortune to get somebody who convinced
the world he could manage a football team. He's about as
passionate about the game as a dead fish.
We now have the chance to take on board a man with a track
record that's better than the swede and i've no doubt he'll
bring a fraction of the baggage with him.
dont agree...managing Brazil to World Cup hardly an amazing
effort...
It is the principle of 'our team' (called England, by the
way)which makes this wrong...
Sorry, you don't put a square peg like mclaren into a round
hole.
If there isn't a good enough england manager out ther, you
don't have one,simple as.
We have a bunch of players in the england team that will
come along once every generation and we don't need someone
like mclaren to screw it up.
In a perfect world I think the entire set-up should be
english as that way they are an honest reflection of our
footballing ability and skills as a nation (on and off the
pitch).
However, those aren't the rules so get Scholari
