Its been a strange few weeks for Chelsea, they
secured a superb 2-2 draw away in Barcelona in the
Champions League, then went and lost to Tottenham
2-1 last week. It seems Mourinho spends more
time criticising referees than praising his team and
players.
His team of course are unbeaten at home,
conceding only three goals although surprisingly
they have only scored nine times in five games at
Stamford Bridge. They thumped Aston Villa 4-0 in the
Carling Cup midweek. They welcome lowly Watford, who
last week secured their first win in the
Premiership, beating Middlesbrough 2-0. They
went out on penalties to Newcastle in the Cup
midweek.
Watford's win will have given the team a huge
lift and they will feel a little more confident
coming into this game. Unbelievably they are a best
priced 22/1 to win this game! Chelsea are 1/6 to
secure the home win which is way too short.
As mentioned before, Chelsea do win their games
but at home they haven't really set the world on
fire in the Premiership, scoring and average of
under two goals for every home game. And actually,
Watford's away form is not too bad, losing only
twice in their last four away trips. Due to this I'm
looking at Watford on the Asian Handicap.
Bet365 offer all new customers a free £100 bet on
this game and I fancy Watford + 2 @ 8/11. I'm sure
Chelsea will win this game, but the odds are just
too short. I'm also going for Chelsea to win 3-0 as
a saver for our bet @ 6/1 |
