" Chelsea have risen to top of the Premiership, and are currently unbeaten at home. In their last home game they scraped a narrow 1-0 win against Everton. Bolton have had some good away form recently, drawing with Midlesbrough and beating Spurs 1-2. This form has seen them rise to fifth in the league.

This will be a tough game for Chelsea - Bolton are no mugs away from the Reebok and score more than a goal for every away trip. They also have a shrewd manager in Sam Allardyce who will play a very tight defensive formation, and it will be hard for Chelsea to break them down. Coming into this game however, Bolton did lose 1-2 to Aston Villa at home, which would have dented their confidence.  think maybe his hands are tied a bit coz no manager not even moyes would release players then re sign them and then the carsley agree a fee then keep him.i know he was fuming over the sissoko deal as he was told it was done.my argument with moyes is some of the players he bought are not good enough and he is tacticaly inept imo.maybe we all got carried away after beating liverpool and our expectations are too high???january he is making noises bout the loan market which for me is a sign possibly that he aint got any money to spend.just lost 10 million an for me as long as bill is in charge we wont improve.as stated not saying he aint trying its just its a rich mans game and he dont have the money or skills to compete no matter how muchh he tries.u tellin me there is nobody out there who dont wanna invest money in us??for me its more like there is but not on the terms that kenwright is laying down. Beattie has been mediocre throughout, was he ever any better, had a purple patch at Southampton but possibly a poor buy rather than a good player gone bad.
Johnson just having one of those spells I hope (please god). Need to Judge at the end of the season.
Cahill was average last season but prior to his injury looked back to his best Davies, hmm, you could be right on that one. Osman has just been poor, had plenty of chances, can’t point a finger at Moyes there.
