It wasnt until the second half that the Reds overcame Norwich last week, and with full home support Burnley can shake Liverpool up. Stubbs offers a lot more than playing ability on the pitch, he leads the back 4 IMO, I know Jo is Nigeria's Capt BUT he's jus not vocal enough & "Seems" reluctant to take charge, for me he's been at GP now for long enough to step up & take charge, I'm sure that's why at times last year he played 2nd fiddle to Wier/Stubbs combo - YES Jo & Lescott are the future BUT IMO Jo has gottta step up & start delivering a little bit more than jus being one of the players - I ain't knocking him jus expect a little bit more from him as he's signed on for another 4 years now.

Everytime I tell people Jo should be doing a lot more I get slated bigtime - Last year I "dared" to suggest selling him cause he couldn't keep Davie/Stubbsie outta the team - fair comment I thought!! If an Internatinal skipper can't get 1st team app over a coupla 35+ YO there isn't much hope for him, I really hope he gets that into his head & steps up this season, too may times last year he was outta position & it was only his pace that saved him.lm very surprised with your, its got be said honest response there VS. Its interesting reading the different views on saturdays game. Amazing that some people thought Stubbs and Davies played well and some thought they were rubbish. On the basis that if the player is top class we would all agree we seem to have only Valenta, Arteta and Johnson that fall into that category. Lescott hopefully will be also but it is little wonder that most fans are calling for another quality midfielder.
