Its a local derby and top of the table clash as
Premiership leaders Man Utd travel down the road to
face Sam Allardyce's third placed Bolton side.
Bolton are having a superb run in the league, they
are unbeaten at home, and have won five out of their
last six matches. They will be disappointed to lose
1-0 away at Charlton midweek in the Carling Cup.
Actually Bolton's recent form is actually better
than the league leaders Utd. Alex Ferguson's side
have won four out of their last six games, however
they are unbeaten away from Old Trafford and have
won three out of their last four away trips, drawing
the other.
This is going to be an interesting game as the
bookies have Man Utd as favourites, despite Bolton's
superb form. Man Utd are 4/5 to win, while Bolton
are as long as 4/1 with Paddy Power to secure the
three points. I don't think we can underestimate
Bolton at home, as they have a great record at the
Reebok and are yet to concede a single goal at home.
Man Utd do have an excellent away record in the
league, but if we look at the teams they have beaten
- Charlton, Watford and Wigan - these teams are at
the bottom of the league and Bolton will pose a
much more sterner challenge. Bolton have already
beaten some big teams, Liverpool and Tottenham at
home already and quite impressively winning 2-0 in
both games.
Bet365
offer a free bet on this game and have Bolton +0.5
on the asian handicap @ Evens. i think this
is quite an attractive bet as both teams are playing
well, and the Reebok is going to be a tough place
for teams to get points, even for Man Utd.
