Its been a great start for Martin O'Neil at Aston
Villa. They are still unbeaten in the Premiership
and grabbed a good 1-1 draw with champions Chelsea
in their last game, they have won all their three
home games so far and have scored six times
and conceded only once. Tottenham on the other hand
have had an awful start to their campaign, winning
only once in their last five games. However, they
will be a little more confident coming into this
game on the back of a 2-1 home win over Portsmouth
in their last outing. It seems that Martin O'Neil
has a great way of bringing the best out of his
players, and I can't help but think that he can
again inspire them to win. Villa are going to be
extremely tough to beat at home this season it
seems, and I can't help but think that Spurs are
lacking some confidence this season. Keeper Paul
Robinson is not in the best of form, and his
personal confidence must be at an all time low after
his dismal performance for England against Croatia
midweek. Scoring wise, it seems that Martin Jol is
finding it difficult to decide who to play up front
and what system to employ, and it seems they are
missing key midfielder Michael Carrick, who was sold
to Man Utd.
Aston Villa have some players in good form, most
notably youngster Gabriel Agbonlahor up front, who
has two goals in two games.
