The reason we lost was because we let their tallest player have a free header in the six yard box with no one on the far post and we didn't convert any of our chances. We had a number of decent chances but I have no doubt that had McFadden been on the pitch we would have had more.

Surely before Poll sent him off he should say to McF " you just called me an F'in cheat I am sending you off, Jimmy Mac then would have told him what he really said in which case doubts might have surfaced in his mind and he should then have given the benefit of the doubt to the player, instead, being the self important t0sser he is, he gives it the big red card flourish and effectively ruins the game as a spectacle.
We do defend too deep & Anichibe should have come on the minute they scored however I will maintain that right now I'd comntinue to support Moyes.
