" Arsenal play Coca Cola Division One
side Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fourth round of
the FA Cup. Well, its Wenger v Hoddle today. Who will
come out on top?? Arsenal are in good form at the
moment, without being overly impressive, and they
come into this game on the back of a 1-0 home win
over Newcastle, which saw them climb back upto second
place. They had a hard fought 2-1 win over Stoke City
in Round Three. Wolverhampton have made good progress
under Glenn Hoddle, losing only one match in nine
games. They are difficult to beat, and have won their
last three matches, including good wins over Millwall
and West Ham. They beat Millwall 2-0 in the last round,
and will be boosted ny the great form of striker Kenny
Miller, who has scored 12 goals this season.
This is going to be a difficult game for Arsenal.
They havent really been playing at their best recently,
beating Newcastle 1-0 but also losing to lowly Bolton.
They also struggled to overcome Stoke City in the
last round. This is a banana skin tie for Arsenal,
as Wolves have nothing to lose, and they will be confident
coming into this game. With only one loss in nine,
the team started to pick up a winning mentality, and
have both strikers Cort and Miller in good form. I
still expect Arsenal to win, but the Wanderers are
going to take time to break down. Due to this, Im
going for a a halftime/fulltime
result of draw/home win @ 7/2 with Coral

due to their recent good form and I'm expecting the
Champions to be a little nervy against their lesser
opponents - Wolves can hold Arsenal to a draw at half
time. I expect however, for the Premiership quality
to come through in the end, and the Gunners should
eventually break down their Midland rivals and secure
a tight win. " Hibbert seemed to have
had the last game off for crossing practice, seemed
much better going forward until he got injured.
Ferrari & Yobo looked excellent, with these two and
Kroldrup to come, hopefully Davey Weir can become
the new left back in the dressing room. Valente
looked to be settling in better as well. Cahill
looked very lively, Kilbane mediocre, better last
night but still not any where near his best, VdM
must help when he's fit.Neville looked very good and
he should be the captain, has the experience and the
right attitude.
Spud, well impressed with him out on the right,
almost Beckhamesque even if the final ball wasn't
quite of the same standard.
Big Dunc, played very well especially the first half
but I thought it was worth noting that the goal came
from a propper cross not just a hoof up the pitch.
He's not the future and his stupidity should have
had us down to 10 men. again. Jimmy Mac, thought he
had another decent game, worries defenders Beattie,
still no real sign of any ability ! tried as best he
could, but running around, getting stuck in and
encouraging the crowd are all things I can do but it
doesn't make me a £6m striker. mm's tales of his
discontent seem to be reflecting on the pitch,
nothing he tries seems to come off and he doesn't
seem to be bothered to run himself into the ground
like he did last year.
Shame we couldn't have got a second in the first
half, lots of hands on head moments but it was not
to be. Disappointing attendance, given I didn't go
to either of the away games I feel a little guilty
saying this but were was everybody ? 28,000 season
ticket holders could have bought tickets for £20
quid ? Those that were there created a good
atmosphere I thought, but a full house and a second
goal first half and it could have been very
interesting.
