England Cricket Free Bets 6th ODI
With the series now lost England will be looking to work on areas for the World Cup but following their dismal performance in the 5th ODI they have a long way to go. Australia dominated England in every area at Brisbane on Sunday when demolishing them by 51 runs and the game was only that close following a spirited last stand of 53 between Steven Finn and James Anderson.
Nevertheless, Andrew Strauss will be happy to get back out on the pitch when the sides meet at Sydney on Wednesday to try and inject some confidence into his side.
Australia going into the game as clear favourites after building up an unassailable lead at 4-1 and they are best-priced 5/6 with Stan James, whilst England are widely available at 11/10.
Having been outplayed throughout this one day series it is very hard to fancy England at the skinny odds and even though the Aussies offer little value, you still have to fancy they can inflict more pain on England and go 5-1 up in the series.
Shaun Marsh made a terrific century early in this seven match series but has failed with the bat since and his price for top Australian batsman has gone out to a juicy 11/2. If the left-hander can recapture the form that saw him hit a magnificent 110 at Hobart then the 11/2 is definitely the best value in that market.
One of England’s usual good eggs Eoin Morgan has failed royally in this one day series and will be hoping for a score to secure his World Cup starting spot.
With England invariably losing wickets early on Morgan has come in to bat far earlier than he would like but if he can come in with 20-25 overs to go then he can manoeuvre the ball elegantly for a match winning score. The Irish lefty is currently available at 13/2 and with most of England’s batsmen faltering he must be worth a speculative punt
