think that they will play differently judging by their

tournament to begin with! And it doesn't matter how these
teams reached this stage, because the only thing that
remains in the "memory" of the tournament system after group
stage is merely who finished 1st and who finished 2nd just

of eliminating them in group stage
- Ukraine is better than Switzerland by virtue of
eliminating it in round of 16
- Ukraine is better than Korea and Togo by "transitive
property" (since this is cup, not a championship where all
play against all), since these are the teams eliminated by
Switzerland
- Italy is better than Czech Republic and USA by virtue of
eliminating them in group stage
- Italy is better than Australia by virtue of eliminating it
in round of 16
- Italy is better than Croatia and Japan by "transitive
property" (since this is cup, not a championship where all
play against all), since these are the teams eliminated by
Australia
